An enclosed field of about 3.34 acres bounded by Cornish hedge
and thick hedgerow. Accessed directly off a Council road, the field
is largely level, sloping in part towards a woodland area of about
1.25 acres, which is wet in areas. To one side of the field, and
adjacent to one of the two accesses into the field, is a block built,
single storey agricultural shed measuring approximately 30ft x 18ft
externally.
Bodwen is a small hamlet 2 miles off the Innis Downs roundabout
on the A30, and just ½ a mile off the A391 to St Austell. This
excellent mid-Cornwall location is central to the nearby villages of
Bugle, Roche, Stenalees, Luxulyan and Lanivet, all of which are in a
6 miles radius. Also easily accessible are the larger towns of
Bodmin approx. 5 miles, St Austell approx. 6 miles and the City of
Truro, the centre for health, education and commerce in Cornwall
approx. 20 miles aware all of which have railway stations on the
main Paddington to Penzance railway line.
